Then they played a mixture of singles and doubles to pull off a 3-2 victory in Orange County. Next they are off to the Sectionals, Aug. 19 and 20, 2017. Let’s wish them luck when you see them around town or practicing at the  Coronado Tennis Center. If they prevail in Sectionals it will be off to the national competition in Florida.

Message From The President

Your Coronado Tennis Association (CTA) is a dynamic organization. We work to provide great tennis opportunities and social events for our resident, nonresident members and the Coronado tennis community.

As I reflect upon the past year, our many activities included leagues, special events, tournaments, school contributions, and free Jr. Clinics. I know that these activities could not have been accomplished without your membership in the CTA!

We also are fortunate to have a very dedicated board of directors, both past and present, league Capts. committee chairs and many wonderful volunteers. Currently our CTA Golf Ball Committee is working to find a solution to keep players safe from golf balls landing in the Tennis Center area. We are making headway. I will keep you posted on our progress as we may need more of your valuable input.

While enjoying our lovely tennis center, I hope you will take a moment to check out Westwood Sports very competively priced merchandise and use your 10% CTA member discount!

Thank you all for your support of tennis in Coronado. Please don’t hesitate to contact one of us with your suggestions for an even better tennis experience in 2014!
