The Coronado Tennis Association (CTA) was formed in 1970 to: Promote tennis in the City of Coronado; Encourage competitive play among its members and between members of similar groups; Assist in the development of promising Coronado juniors; and support the maintenance of city-owned tennis facilities within the City of Coronado.
The City of Coronado pays for court resurfacing, nets, fences, windscreens, landscaping, janitorial, court washing, lighting, electricity, and building maintenance and improvement. https://www.coronado.ca.us/government/departments_divisions/recreationandgolfservices
is the concessionaire contracted with the City of Coronado to operate the Coronado Tennis Center including all city courts and the pro shop. Impact Activities determines court use and provides court reservations, ball machine rental, lessons, tournaments and other tennis activities. https://www.impactactivities.com/coronado
is a non-profit player organization governed by a volunteer board of directors that organizes social tennis for the Coronado community. CTA membership provides its members play in CTA leagues, ladders, mixers, events, etc. The CTA Board of Directors serves as a liaison between the City of Coronado, Impact Activities and the Coronado community of players.
